Positions available

Hi,

Just a friendly reminder that this Thursday we will be holding our AGM at 7.30pm at the Irymple Pub in their smaller function room. The Irymple Swimming Club prides itself on being a friendly and inclusive club, with many different people helping out to ensure the success of the club both in and out of the pool. Being part of the committee is easy, we meet roughly 8 times a year for 1-2 hours. All committee positions will be declared open at the meeting so please consider if you are interested in coming on board.

A Super Brief Description of Positions are:

President - The go to person for the club, responsible for day to day running and with support from the wider committee appoints coaching staff.  

Vice President - Main support person for the president

Secretary - Responsible for meeting agendas and minutes, application for grants, letters of Thanks etc

Treasurer - Responsible for the financial aspect of the club

Competition Secretary - Accepts and collates entries (including formulating program) for the club in swimming carnivals both internally and externally.  

Equipment Officer - Ensures maintenance of club equipment / arranges new equipment as required

Registrar - main delegate for my lane with swim vic

Ribbons /Trophies- Orders and prepares same for Irymple events

Hospitality - Orders for BBQ's and runs hospitality for club events with the support of all club members

Publicity Officer - Updates social media, club website and general promotion of the club

Sales Officer - Arranges orders and sales of club merchandise

District Representitive (former SSI rep) - represents club at district meetings as required.

Generall Committee - assists with all of the above roles as required.
