FREEZER CLEAN OUT

Would like to clean out the freezer -  there is;

Two bags of sausages

One bag of sliced onions

Icypoles

Zooper Doopers

Sausages might come in handy over Easter and with the warmer weather the icy poles and zooper doopers will go down a treat with the kids.  

Would be greatly appreciated if someone could take these off our hands this week. Just asking for a small donation to the club for the freezer goods.  

If you would like any of these let me know.  I have the clubroom keys with me at work if anyone wants to get them today or tomorrow.

Fwd: 2019 Sunraysia Winter Training

Please pass onto your club members...

Hi all,

Sunraysia Swimming are conducting a Winter Training Program; The program is designed for all swimmers who meet certain criteria, with the aim to maintain fitness and refine stroke technique throughout the Winter Season.

This season we have partnered with Sunraysia Academy of Sport. This will include an extra gym session and Sunday morning training.

We are having a compulsory meeting for both Elite & Development (optional pre-squad) squads on Friday 12th April - includes information about Sunraysia Academy of Sport, Winter Training and registration.

Please find attached information about Winter Training. Registration forms will be sent out soon as we are still confirming some information.

*Days and times are still not confirmed for Winter Training.

Please note; there will be a 3 week pool closure due to upgrades, during this time there will be group fitness classes organised. More info to come out soon.

RE: AGM Agenda

Hi All.

 

Tracy, Keeley and I will be an apology for the AGM meeting.

 

Could you please note at the AGM that after 12 years in the club and 11 years combined in the committee, Tracy and I will not be taking on any further committee positions. We will offer support if needed to club events such as the Irymple Open and Australia Day breakfast.

 

Keeley will continue to offer his services in coaching and will be swimming.

 

We wish the club all the best in the future.

Positions available

Hi,

Just a friendly reminder that this Thursday we will be holding our AGM at 7.30pm at the Irymple Pub in their smaller function room. The Irymple Swimming Club prides itself on being a friendly and inclusive club, with many different people helping out to ensure the success of the club both in and out of the pool. Being part of the committee is easy, we meet roughly 8 times a year for 1-2 hours. All committee positions will be declared open at the meeting so please consider if you are interested in coming on board.

A Super Brief Description of Positions are:

President - The go to person for the club, responsible for day to day running and with support from the wider committee appoints coaching staff.  

Vice President - Main support person for the president

Secretary - Responsible for meeting agendas and minutes, application for grants, letters of Thanks etc

Treasurer - Responsible for the financial aspect of the club

Competition Secretary - Accepts and collates entries (including formulating program) for the club in swimming carnivals both internally and externally.  

Equipment Officer - Ensures maintenance of club equipment / arranges new equipment as required

Registrar - main delegate for my lane with swim vic

Ribbons /Trophies- Orders and prepares same for Irymple events

Hospitality - Orders for BBQ's and runs hospitality for club events with the support of all club members

Publicity Officer - Updates social media, club website and general promotion of the club

Sales Officer - Arranges orders and sales of club merchandise

District Representitive (former SSI rep) - represents club at district meetings as required.

Generall Committee - assists with all of the above roles as required.

If you are unable to attend the meeting and think you may be able to help out with any of the above positions on the committee we would love to hear from you,
