Dinner Invite

Afternoon,

Just wanting to invite everyone to the Irymple Pub for dinner tomorrow night for the Irymple Swimming Club breakup, following the conclusion of the club championships.  Everyone can order meals from the normal menu. Hope to see you all at the championships and for dinner.  Please let us know if you can come to make sure we have enough seats reserved,

Last Training Today / Club Championships Thursday

Just a reminder that it will be the last training session for the summer today at 5pm due to the Irymple pool closing on Sunday.  

We will resume training over winter at the Waves - days and times to be advised.

Club Championships - Thursday at 5pm.  All swimmers competitors and recreational swimmers are invited to come along.  Could you please let me know by Wednesday 5pm if you intend on swimming just so I can have the computer up to date and ready to go on Thursday.  Cost is $3.50 per event and all four strokes are available.

A massive thank you to everyone who either participated and/or helped out with tonight's Primary School Meet.

We had over 130 swimmers tonight and the meet could not have run any smoother because of the fabulous help from our members.  Already had an email around 8.30pm tonight enquiring about membership.

We are a small club but we are a strong club!!

I will send the results out over the weekend - thanks again for your support!!

Primary School Meet & club update

Morning,

As you are all aware, tomorrow night is our primary school meet.  This meet is a great opportunity for swimmers that don't usually compete to have a go and its lots of fun. To run this event we need help, if anyone is able to come help set up from 3.30pm that would be great.  We will also need help with other jobs through the event so please let us know if you are able to help.  Non primary school swimmers are encouraged to help out with time keeping on the night if able.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to let all Irymple swimmers know that we are holding our club championships on the 28/3 at the Irymple pool.  More details to follow closer to the time.  At the conclusion of this event we will head over to the Irymple Pub for tea and club presentation night.

Finally we will hold our AGM on Thursday 4/4/19 at 7.30 pm at the Irymple pub.  The committee is a friendly and inclusive group that meets every 1-2 months for 1-2hours.  It is not a massive commitment as we are lucky at Irymple Swimming Club to have an amazing group of families willing to help out with anything we ask, which makes life easy.  If you would like to know more about any of the positions or just being a general committee member please speak with any of our current committee either at the primary school meet, training or via email.
