Irymple Swimming Club Captains 2014-15

Dear Irymple Swimmers,

 

It is time once again to consider the important issue of Club Captains for the 2014-15 season. The Irymple Swimming Club Committee are seeking expressions of interest in the positions from all swimmers aged 14 years and over. The Committee would like to strongly encourage 14 years and over swimmers to please consider putting up your hand for one of these positions. There is a brief description of the role attached to this email for your information.

 

It is also hoped that the senior swimmers will form a "leadership group" to work with the Club Captains in helping and encouraging new and younger members of the Club.

 

Could all 14 and over swimmers please reply to this email at itinker@bigpond.net.au to let us know if you are interested in the Club Captain positions.

 

Your response by Sunday 2nd November would be much appreciated.

Broken Hill Carnival

Hi All

Please find attached competition information for Broken Hill Two Day Carnival to be held on November 22nd and 23rd, 2014. Sunraysia Swimmers interested in attending the meet need to  email their entries  by Sunday October 26th to following  address:

2014 Sprint Meet - Sunday 26th October

Yes, it's that time again........  To kick off the summer season we will be having the Sprint Meet on Sunday 26th October at the Mildura Waves indoor pool commencing at 3pm.  Entries online www.irympleswimmingclub.com.au no later than 5pm Friday 17th October. 

 

Just a reminder that registrations will need to be renewed before entering the Sprint Meet.  Forms can be downloaded from www.irympleswimmingclub.com.au

2014 SSI Swim Training - Thursdays (October) & Summer Morning Sessions

Hi Everyone,

 

Please see attached flyers for SSI Swim Training to be held at the Mildura Waves during October and the Morning Summer Training Sessions.

 

Emily and Maddy will be conducting sessions on Thursday afternoons during October from 5pm (Starts this Thursday).  Cost will be your pool entry into Mildura Waves - SSI will be covering the lane hire cost for these sessions.

 

Summer Morning Training Sessions - starts next Monday 13th.  There will be no afternoon sessions during summer as clubs will be providing training at their own outdoor pools.  State/Country Squad is $450 and the morning social swim is $5.00 per session.

 

Any queries regarding SSI training sessions can be directed to coaches Emily McClelland and Madeleine Wood at sunraysiaswimming@gmail.com

2014 Thursday arvo and Summer Training

Hi Everyone,

Please see flyers for the Thursday afternoon training and Summer Training that will be distributed to the clubs.

 

From the feedback that I received about summer training we will try and encourage social swimmers to swim with their clubs over the summer but there will be exceptions who wont be able to do so.  Social swimmers will pay $5.00 per morning session.  Please make sure your club members are aware of that option.
