Fwd: AGM.

Just a reminder that the SSI AGM is on tomorrow night.  If you are interested in becoming a part of the SSI committee, please attend this meeting.

Irymple does need two representatives for the SSI meetings, as we haven't had our AGM as yet -they haven't been decided.  If you would like to be our rep, please let me know.  It involves attending SSI meetings (usually held every second month) and report back to our club and also put forward any ideas and/or suggestions that may come from our club.

Thanks
Robyn

Please forward to all your club members.

The Sunraysia Swimming Association Inc will be holding this years AGM on Wednesday 30th May 7:30pm in the Mildura Swimming Club rooms.  All are welcome and we would love to see some new faces.  All positions will be declared vacant and nominations can be made via the nomination form attached.

If no nominations are received nomination can be taken from the floor on the night.

Looking forward to seeing you.

Regards

Debra Sharman

Secretary.

Re: Presentation night and AGM

Hi All,
After a lot of deliberation we have had to change the date of presentation night to Friday 8th June at 6pm at tenpin bowling. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and hope you are able to make it. Moving forward we will ensure next year it coincides with the end of training season. Please RSVP by 30/5/18.
Look forward to catching up with you all,
Regards
Sianne

Afternoon All,

Hope you all had a nice easter and enjoyed the holidays. Just a few updates from the ISC committee.

-Our presentation night and AGM will be held on the 18/5/18 at ten pin bowling Mildura.  All family members are invited to come along and have some fun bowling against your team mates.Cost will be $5 per person for pizza tea and drinks are available from the kiosk.  There will be a cost involved with bowling and the amount of games you play is up to you. It would be lovely to see many families come along and enjoy the evening.

-As with all AGM's the committee positions will become vacant and we will accept nominations and appoint a new committee on the night.  Although the committee stands responsible for the club we do ask that everyone helps out around the club as many hands make light work. In saying this it makes being on the committee a achievable task.  The committee is a very supportive group of people who meet approximately 6 times each year. Our only fundraiser is the Irymple Open, which all club members assist with under the guidance of Clinton and his team. If anyone has any questions regarding the committee please raise them with us and we welcome anyone interested in joining to do so. I will send a list of positions out in the coming weeks.

-As many of you noticed, we have grown a little in numbers over the season and plan to grow more in the 2018/19 season by encouraging and promoting the club as a swimming club open to both competitive and non competitive swimmers.  Therefore we have an opening in the club for an assistant or helping hand for Mandy with coaching. This may include starting the warm up program set out by Mandy and on the odd occasion running a training session set out by Mandy.  This will be a volunteer position and you will be well supported by both Mandy and the committee.  The club will cover the cost of the interested person completing the competitive strokes course. If anyone would like to know more or is interested in this position, please let us know.

-ISC winter training will commence at the start of term 3 at the waves (day to be decided closer to the time).  This means we are not training in term 2.  For anyone interested in training with SSI please refer to previous emails with details regarding days/ times/ cost and training level.  Any questions again please refer to the committee.

Finally thanks to everyone who has been involved with the ISC this year.  It is so nice to be involved with such as inclusive and supportive club.  The culture of the club provides such a positive sporting role model for our children which benefits everyone involved!

Please RSVP to the presentation night by 13/5/18 as we need to let ten pin bowling know numbers and any other questions either email the club or phone

Re: Presentation night and AGM

Morning everyone,
It seems that the proposed date for the presentation night / AGM is not suiting many people. Would it suit if we were able to have it on the Sunday 20/5/18 in the afternoon? or the 1/6/18 (Friday) at night?
Please let us know your preference
Thanks
Sianne
