Proficiency Meet Friday 16th Feb - Entries due by Friday 2nd Feb

Entries for timed Proficencies need to be in by Friday 2nd February.
I have attached a copy of the times for boys and girls.  Just note that all times must be achieved in order to gain award.

Entries for untimed can be done on the day.
This is a great place for the younger swimmers to start doing.  If they are doing the correct technique in the untimed proficiencies they will receive a certificate at the end of the season.  This one is more based on being proficient at the stroke not based on any times.  You can pick the stroke/s you would like to attempt.

Any question, don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks
Robyn

4th Pennant entries

Just a reminder for entries for the 4th Pennant by Sunday.

Please note that this will be the second selection meet for the Country Inter-District competition to be held at the Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre on 24th February.

Can you please email me back and let me know if your child is available for selection.  To be eligible you must have swum at least 3 of the 6 interclub meets.

This is normally an organised bus trip from Mildura to Melbourne and return.  Parents with Working with Children Checks can accompany the group on the trip.  If your child is wanting to go and you will be travelling separately from the group, please note that you are still required to pay the fee of approximately $100.00

If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask.

Hi Competition Secretaries,
Please find attached the amended results from the 2ndRelay, there was an error in the boys open free relay and some minor other results times. Please use the attached zip file to update your computer.

The InterDistrict Selection meeting will be on the 7th Feb. 8pm at Mildura club rooms. This meeting is usually attended by all comp. sec's, but we need at least one representative from each club and the Team Managers organising the InterDistrict trip.
To sort out the eligibility of the swimmers I will need to know which swimmers attended the 1st Relay Meet. (to be eligible to InterDistricts your swimmers need to have swam at least 3 of the 6 InterClub meets held up to the 4thP.(and swam in the 4th and/or 5thP) (if they would like to apply for exemption they will need to indicate this before the 4thP to help with selection.

All swimmers need to indicate to you before the 4thP if they are available to go to InterDistricts. Please advise me of any eligible swimmers not available.
(After I have received all 1st Relay swimmer's names I will send you the spreadsheet to show you which swimmers are eligible.)

For any more information regarding InterDistricts, please consult the SSI Handbook.

Please remind swimmers of the closing date of entries for the 4thPennant/District Champs.

Hi Comp sec's
It was brought to my attention that some results were incorrect.
This affected some Red Cliffs, Merbein, Robinvale and Mildura swimmers. This then changed the overall scores slightly.
Please find attached the adjusted zip file, full results and meet summaries.
