Attached is the program and roster for Friday's 2nd Pennant swim.

Please forward to your club members.

The program is also available online.

If anyone can not do their roster duty, please let them find a replacement.

Note:

This week was the last week that I have accepted late entries. 

In our bylaws the only exception to this is when you have new club members, and they can come on the night and swim if a lane is free.

Please do not ask to put in late entries next week.

Entries for the the 3rd Pennant close this Sunday at 5pm.

Any scratchings need to be forwarded to me by 5pm on the day of the meet.

Please, help me make this job a bit less demanding and remind help your members to get their entries in on time.

Irymple Open Roster

Hi Everyone,

Please see below the roster for our biggest event of the year - the
Irymple Open.
It does take a huge amount of effort to run this properly and the
committee relies on the support from all Irymple families throughout
the day.


Roster:

Set Up: (from 10am) Everyone, could we have as many as possible at the
pool by 10am for setup.

As I do not know what families will be doing relays we will need more volunteers on the night to fill the 3rd timekeeper spots. 

This is an SSI event, and we will require all present to help with set up and pack up.

Irymple Open

Hi Everyone,

Just a reminder that our BIGGEST event of the year is next weekend.

How can you help?

1. Get your entries in by this weekend.

2. Donate something towards our gate hamper prizes e.g. biscuits, coffee, serviettes,bon bons, popcorn, shortbread, jams etc.,  These can be left in the clubrooms at training (please put in fridge if they will melt) or bring to Friday night's relay meet.

3. If your business or workplace would like to become a sponsor - please email Clinton okwill@bigpond.com   Sponsorship is from a low $50.00

4. Donate fruit or maybe bake something for hospitality for officials, timekeepers etc.,  If you are able to help with this one please email Lisa Crowhurst - crowsl@bigpond.com

5. Volunteer your time on Saturday 26th to assist with the smooth running of our swim meet.

We need to fill the following positions;

This meet is at the Irymple Pool and Irymple are hosting this event so we will need some help setting and packing up as well as during the meet.

It is tricky making the roster. I have tried to not roster any new families on at this first pennant, but nearly everyone else is rostered on.

Swimming Club Training

Hi Everyone,

Just letting you know that training will commence at Irymple Pool on Tuesdays at 5.30pm - starting tomorrow 8th November with Mandy.

We will continue to train at the Waves on Thursdays at 5.30pm for the time being.  Thanks to Mandy and Chloe and we have been very fortunate to have Alison Curry help out on a Thursday night too!!  Thank you Alison!!

If you know of anyone who maybe interested in joining our club or wanting to come and try a training session, please let them know that they are more than welcome just to turn up to any training session.

Hi everyone, please distribute to your club members.

Attached is the program and roster for the Sprint Meet. (program is also on website)

We have a limited amount of entries and therefore need at least one person from each family helping out to be able to run the meet (see roster)

It should only be a short meet so we are not providing hospitality for this meet, please bring a waterbottle, and maybe a snack if you think you might need one.

SSI would like to encourage all parents/carers to do some training to become an official. The first step is to do the free General Principals course via AIS (https://sunraysia.swimming.org.au/article.php?group_id=120227&id=5717)
