SSI AGM - Secretary Required

Hi Everyone,

Sunraysia Swimming Inc. held it's Annual General Meeting last Wednesday.

The following positions have been filled;

President - Robyn O'Brien

Vice President - Diana Lyons

Secretary - VACANT

Treasurer - Carolyn Gowers

Registrar - Carolyn Gowers

Competition Secretary - Rupa Oberoi

District Referee - Diana Lyons

SV Delegate - Diana Lyons

Records Officer - Lorraine Argus

Publicity Officer - Emily McClelland

Sales Officer - Maaike Johnson

Equipment Officer - David O'Brien

Grievance Officer - David Talbot

Secretary Urgently Needed - We do need someone to fill the position of Secretary as soon as possible. It's not a hard job it just requires someone to collect mail, attend meetings, record,type and distribute minutes and agendas and email meeting reminders. Meetings are once a month and go for about 1-1.5 hours. If you are interested in this position could you please let me know by return email or on 0438 110497- this position needs to be filled by the end of this week! I am more than happy to answer any queries and will guide you with the position requirements.

I would like to take this opportunity to say a special thank you to Gaylene Veal for her contributions to Sunraysia Swimming in her role as Competition Secretary - each and everyone of us have benefited from Gaylene's knowledge, dedication and commitment. No-one really understands the hours that go into this role.

Thank you also to Teresa Crisp for the time and effort she put into her role of President over the past two years, Teresa will continue in a referee role with SSI.

Dust Buster - Postponed to July 12th

Hi Everyone,

The Dust Buster has been postponed until 12th July (last weekend of the holidays) Flyer is attached.

I strongly encourage you all to show your support to Sunraysia Swimming by entering this meet. There is great prize money on offer and a good opportunity to compete locally.

Registrations for the 2014-15 season are due for renewal from 1st July. Registration forms are costs will be available after the next Irymple committee meeting.
