Just a reminder that there is a march past prior to the meet commencing, please wear Irymple shirt or jacket if you have one. 

Presentation of SSI trophies and shields will be done after the march past. 

 

Please note: There will be no BBQ tomorrow.

SSI Annual General Meeting - Wednesday 28th May at 7pm in the Mildura Clubrooms. 

Please consider joining the SSI Committee, this year we will have a number of positions becoming vacant including treasurer and competition secretary.  If anyone is interested in the Competition Secretary role, please speak with Gaylene Veal cveal@bigpond.net.au  - if you would like to know more you are most welcome to observe tomorrow.

Fwd: T & I Shield / Last Blast - End of Season

Hi Everyone,

 

Just a reminder that we need entries for the T&I Shield/Last Blast no later than Tuesday www.irympleswimmingclub.com.au

Hoping that you are all available to swim so Irymple can retain the shield for another year.

 

Perpetual Trophies - if you have a perpetual trophy from last season could you please return it to me on Sunday 16th or leave in clubrooms during training times.

 

Entry Fees - I will send an email out in the next couple of days for those who still owe entry fees from meets held this season.  It would be greatly appreciated if all money could be finalised by next Sunday 16th.  Either give to myself or Andrea.

 

Primary School Swim Meet - Thursday 20th March at 5pm Irymple Pool.  Thank you to those members who have passed the information onto their schools and encouraged swimmers to participate.  Could you please email if you are able to help out on the night - even if your children are no longer in primary school we still need your help.  We also need as many of our older swimmers to assist with timekeeping.

 

Training Times - Training times for the remainder of the season are;

Tuesday 11th - 5.30 - 6.30pm

Thursday 13th - 5.30 - 6.30pm

Sunday 16th - No training - T & I Shield

Tuesday 18th - 5.30 - 6.30pm

Thursday 20th - No training - Primary School Swim Meet

Sunday 23rd - No training - All Juniors Melbourne

Tuesday 25th - 5.30 - 6.30pm

Thursday 27th - 5.30 - 6.30pm FINAL TRAINING SESSION

Fwd: Primary School Swim Meet

Hi Everyone,

 

The annual Primary School Swim Meet will be held at the Irymple Pool on Thursday 20th March at 5.00pm.

 

This meet is run by the Irymple Swimming Club and is a way to promote swimming and hopefully encourage swimmers to join our fantastic club. 

 

We rely on lots of help from our club members - not only parents but our older swimmers who can represent the club by helping out on the night.

 

If your child is in primary school or you have friends with primary school aged children please encourage them to participate.

 

Flyer and entry forms (individual and school) are attached.  I have some printed to take to schools, if you could help out by delivering to your school or a school near you - that would be great.  Just let me know which school.

Please see results from Friday night's 3rd relay. Irymple wins by 6 points!!

 

Congratulations to all Irymple swimmers we have won all three relay swims this season - a fantastic effort!!

 

Thanks to all who participated - sorry if I nagged you to swim.

Club Championships Results / Perpetual Trophies / Sunday Training

Hi Everyone,

Please see results attached from yesterday's club championships.

 

Congratulations to Hayley (butterfly), Kunind (breaststroke) and Eric (freestyle) for being new club record holders.

 

Perpetual Trophies - if you have a trophy from last season could you please return to clubrooms during training sessions Tuesdays & Thursdays 5.30 - 6.30pm or Sundays 1.00 - 2.00pm or give to Robyn or Clinton.

 

Sunday Training - there is no training today because the All Junior / Proficiency Meet.
