Fwd: Short Course Time Trial

Hi Everyone,

SSI is holding a short course time trial on Sunday 21st July at 3pm at the Waves for swimmers who have or are close to qualifying for countries or states times are welcome to attend.

 

Due to the short time of this meet, swimmers are asked to enter only the strokes/events that they need times for.

 

The program of events will be decided once entries are received.

Thank you to those many people who helped with the organisation, setup and running of the Dust Buster.

It does take a lot of time and effort from volunteers in running a meet like this and Sunraysia Swimming appreciated and relies on all of you support and co-operation to make this event successful.

13 Swimmers from Sunraysia achieved one or more qualifying times for Victorian Country Short Course Meet to be held at Wangaratta on 17^th & 18^th August 2013

If a swimmer from your club is wishing to enter for Short Course can you please advise them to send me their entries by no later than Friday 2^nd August.

Entry Fee: $12.00 per event. Alternatively the swimmer can enter themselves online.

Fwd: Membership Form - Dust Buster - Training

Hi Everyone,

Membership

Please see membership form for this season attached.  Swimming Victoria has decided to bring the swimming year inline with the financial year, so this season is 14 months not 12 months as in the past, so there has been an increase in fees for this season.  Irymple Swimming Club has decided to absorb half of the cost for competitors to keep the cost down for families.

 

Fees for this season are as follows;

Competitor $150.00

Non-competitor $35.00

Official $15.50

 

It is a requirement by Swimming Victoria that all committee members are to be registered and I encourage parents also to become members.

 

Dust Buster - Saturday 13th July

Please see flyer attached.  Entries close on Saturday at 12pm.  Please enter online www.irympleswimmingclub.com.au by 12 noon on Saturday.  SSI relies on the support on all families to ensure that the Dust Buster is a success.  Please encourage your swimmers to enter the Dust Buster.

 

Winter Training

Training has now commenced on Wednesdays at 4.30pm at the Mildura Waves for all Sunraysia members.  Training sessions are being conducted by Cameron Douglass and Mark Slade.  Sunday training will continue with Teresa Crisp as normal at 4.00pm.

 

Clinton would also like to invite any swimmer or parent who would like to join him and Simon for a swim at the Waves on a Monday, Tuesday or Thursday evenings from 6pm to 7.30pm.  If you are interested in joining them please email Clinton your mobile number okwill@bigpond.com

Clinton will send a text in the morning if they are swimming that evening.
